New Year...New MedARTation projects...

Happy New Year everyone!

I've been away for a while and busy moving house, but now I have a bit more time on my hands I am having a go at some new MedARTation crafts.

I have a few more FELT projects to add so keep a look out for those and I will also add my progress at CROCHET!

I had a go at crochet as a child and haven't done this for ages, but I have been inspired by my friends granny blanket and have always wanted to make one of my own.

I have 2 projects on the go...

1. The vintage blanket featured in "the art of crochet" magazines (see links) and
2. A granny blanket.

I have never been able to master the granny square ...until now and its all thanks to the fantastic youtube video I have posted by DZCrochetcreations. You really can't go wrong.

Some of my friends have also shown an interest in having a go at crafting and MedARTation, so I am going to set up some Saturday crafternoons (excuse the pun) where we can all get together with a cuppa, some cake and a few projects....looking forward to those!

How to Crochet Granny Square - Tutorial

This is an amazing tutorial on crocheting a granny square....I have tried and tried to do these and was failing miserably until I saw this. It really is a step by step guide.....and granny squares are ADDICTIVE!
